Students Grasp the Power of the Influential Hairdresser

At the start of school, a successful career seems a long way off. So, six weeks into the curriculum, we give our students their ‘Influential Hairdresser Project.’ Not only do the students learn about the powerful, positive changes these pioneers make to the industry, they also learn — with the right skill-set, inspiration and perspiration — that incredible achievements are possible in the hairdressing craft. A Day at the American Museum of Natural History

At ARROJO Cosmetology, one way we get our students thinking outside the box (hairdressing is a creative craft, after all) is field trips. It’s great to open hearts and minds, trigger new ideas, and integrate new experiences into one’s hairdressing skill-set. In January, we took three classes on one such adventure.
