ARROJO Cosmetology just graduated another group of stellar students! The stylists from Class 14 are the latest set of students to graduate from our inspirational, career-shaping curriculum and are now out at high-end salons (and a couple theaters) across New York!
These 12 students came to us with little to no previous experience, and through intense study, practice, and practical application, they are now prepared to take on a lifetime career of success! The past 7 months were spent learning: health and safety, client consultations, product knowledge, makeup and styling, advanced techniques in color and cut that emphasize a modern and creative, precision-based method. All of this hard work culminated in another awe-inspiring Graduation ceremony.
At the Graduation Presentation, each student presented one complete head-to-toe look, inclusive of an overall concept or theme. With styling and makeup, haircutting, coloring, and wardrobe - their skills were called into action for the final leap from student to stylist.
So, with an audience of family and friends, fellow students and staff, it was on with the show! Class 14 chose the magical theme of “Archetypes in Fairytales” for their graduation presentation. From Wicked Witch, to Damsel in Distress, to The Apple, and The Siren… each student showcased a look that reflected the most creative and inspirational parts of their skill set.
The creativity and precision of each cut, color, and style was a perfect example of what can be achieved through the right education and inspiration. The concepts and themes showed our students to be on the pulse of fashion and trend and style. The finished looks wowed the crowd, and belied, that seven short months ago, these sixteen stars were learning the right way to shampoo hair, the correct way to hold a comb.

As an educator and one of the schools directors it was apparent that this class was special right from the beginning. They all started the program and continued though with the same passion and determination to learn and be excellent at their craft. Their drive for excellence not only inspired me but other students and staff around them. I wish you all the luck in the world and know that all of you will have success in your careers ahead.
