A few weeks ago, Columbia Journalism grad student, Sarah Harvey came into ARROJO Cosmetology to interview some of our students. Sarah was putting together an article about cosmetology students who have set aside college degrees and professional careers, to start beauty school and become hair stylists. Lucky for her, about half of our student body is in that career-changing category.
