ARROJO cosmetology is delighted to report that the third-ever class to take our advanced and inspirational seven-month program are now high-flying beauty school Graduates. The Graduation Party Presentation is the students’ apotheosis of seven months of hard study, practice, and practical application of the ARROJO cosmetology curriculum. In this time, students scrutinize everything from health and safety, to client consultations, to beauty product knowledge and usage, to makeup and styling, to the theory and practice of modern hairstyling and the related sciences, to high-level ARROJO techniques in advanced scissor and razor work, and in creative color applications.
And with the presentation of one complete head to toe look, including overall concept or theme, styling, makeup, hair shape, color, and style, this is each student’s chance to shine, sharing, as they do, their newfound knowledge, creativity, and skill with their peers, school staff, and with any family and friends they wish to invite to the show.
So with family and friends, fellow students and staff, all in the audience, it was time for the show. Each Graduate wowed the crowd with a sense of style and individuality, alongside a sense of hairstyling know-how, that belied the fact that seven short months ago, these Graduates never knew the right way to hold a comb.
There was undercutting that gave the finished look modern freedom and versatility; there was bohemian inspired long layers, blended with free-hand highlights; there was sexy and romantic face-framing shape toned in dark colors with hints of red; there was a cut close to the nape razor cut with brown and beige and blonde color tones that exemplified the androgynous female dandy; there was a long and flowing and undulating ‘beachy’ blonde; and there was a super-strong A-line bob, inspired by the strength and the confidence of New York City.
In short, stunning looks that showcased talent, skill, and the passion for the craft that leads to long and distinguished careers at the top of the industry.
Upon closing each student was presented with their Graduation certificate with Vilma and Lauren also each taking home a $350 gift certificate for the ARROJO advanced academy in recognition of their best attendance and best GPA records, respectively.
Nick Arrojo then rounded up events by announcing: “This is the beginning of your cosmetology career, work hard, stay inspired, think big, and all your dreams will come true.”
Praise, honor and acclaim our Class 3 Graduates. A bright and brilliant future awaits…

Dear Loretta and everybody at Arrojo,
This experience has been absolutely amazing, these past 7 months have been alot of hard work but well worth it. I dont know where else i could have been taught so much in such a short period of time. The teachers and salon staff have been so inspiring and it was just amazing working with them. People here are always smiling and just have an amazing vibe.
Love everyone here, Sophie :]
What a great 7 months we had, and an amazing experience. We’ve come so far from sectioning in stage one to razor cutting and creative color for our presentations. I’m so grateful for the education and the awesome people I’ve met.
Good luck to everyone,
Lizzy
