“I never pictured myself as a hair stylist,” says Aziza Rasulova, a graduate of ARROJO Cosmetology and assistant at ARROJO Studio.
Aziza changed her mind when she moved from Russia to Manhattan two years ago. “I have a degree in Business and Economics, but when I moved to New York, I was constantly reminded of my passion for hair. I started braiding hair for my friends and I liked making people look good. I bought fashion magazines to study the editorials and that led me to seek employment with a salon. It wasn’t until then that I realized I needed to become licensed to work as a professional in the industry.” Keep Reading…
