On the course, you'll learn professional cosmetology services in theory and practice, client communication, retail performance, presentation skills, creative expression, and business building. We help graduates find employment. Graduates can also apply to become an ARROJO studio employee.

The school, although completely private, adjoins ARROJO studio, one of New York's most successful hair salons. Experienced professional instructors teach daily, but you'll also get guest demos and lectures from my studio team of master stylists and I. We will demo techniques, provide you with insights to the industry, and give you a platform to work in the salon, in education, or in editorial and fashion-related work.

As a licensed cosmetologist you can make your dreams come true. The most popular career path is to become a salon stylist. Or you can be an editorial or session stylist, a full-time educator, a stylist for film, TV, or theater; you can be a product development, retail, or management specialist; you can be your own business owner. And all graduates are welcome to apply for a position on the ARROJO studio cutting or coloring assistant training program that leads to being one of our salon stylists.

With small-class-numbers (maximum of 16 in each class), we aim to give each student lots of personal attention.The goal is to nurture your development at every stage of the program. The teaching method includes theory, demos, workshops, and extensive practical experience on the student salon floor. This gives students a theoretical understanding of cosmetology and plenty of time to practice new skills in a supervised environment. This is aligned with our hands-on approach, which is designed to build your confidence and expertise in salon services.
